Below are a
couple of scripture passages that will help focus the importance of what you are
about to do today. There is also a list of potential prayer subjects to help you
guide your time with God. “For
surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare
and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you come to me and
pray to me, I will hear you…” Jeremiah 29:12 Jesus told a
parable about the need to pray always and with humility and not to lose heart.
Read Luke 18:1-14 “Whatever
you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.” Matthew 21:22 “The
prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and anyone
who committed sins will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins before one
another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of the
righteous is powerful and effective.” James 5:15-16 “The Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.” Romans 8:26 Potential prayer list:
